ContributionsAncient China has contributed so much to our everyday life.
Logograph, Seismograph, and Compass First off, they created logographs which we still use today, for example a number, 7 is a logograph. Next, they also created seismographs and the compass. The compass is used for direction and the seismograph is used to measure an earthquake. Inventions After that came the kite. They used the kite for military purposes, but we changed that and we use it for entertainment for younger children. Lastly, one of the most important contributions, paper. Before paper was invented, they had to use bamboo. paper is an everyday item for us, and our world would be much different without it, and everything else above. |

The Ancient Chinese, left pretty large lasting legacy. As well as their legacy that they left with all their contributions above, they also left a few more. One of these, is their unified system of laws, where everybody was in agreement. Also, they simplified and improved their writing system. One way that they did this, was like above, they used logographs. This from of writing simplified things, so they weren't as complicated. Another thing, was their use of salt to preserve many foods like vegetables. The last thing they are known for, was their creation of silk. This is a fabric, which other places did not have which is why it made for good trade.
